[#2227] remove remaining references to AIM (#2355)

The profile display was removed in #2234, but the Edit Profile page
still contained the AIM field in the form, and I found a few other
references to the defunct userprop sprinkled throughout odd corners
of the codebase.

1661 banned behaviour (#2329)

* (Bug 1661) : Checking for banned status on reply to comment now works
except for cases involving OpenID.

* (Bug 1661) : Now it works for communities too. And openID always worked,
remarkably.

* (1661) Code style changes as requested by Mark ages ago.
